Roasted Cauliflower Recipe
- 1 large Cauliflower
- 1 large leek
- 1 shallot minced
- 1 tbs. olive oil
- a dash of salt and pepper to taste
- red chili flakes to taste
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash and dry cauliflower and separate into florets. Cut leek long ways and rinse to get grit and sand out. Slice leeks into ½ inch pieces crosswise. In a large bowl, cauliflower with olive oil and add salt and pepper. Spread onto a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Add leeks, stir around and bake for another 10 minutes. Add minced shallots, stir around, and bake another 10 minutes; top with chili flakes if desired.
